Peaceful Love Rock Festival
The veteran musicians which help support the Okinawan music scene, join along with upcoming bands and get together in an open-air event . Indies bands which also win the right to perform through auditions perform giving the music scene new life and talent. One band, "Murasaki", which had been together in the 60's playing Okinawa Rock and Roll has now rejoined and held a concert in 1983. Since their second concert they have performed with various artists, making this Okinawan event the pride of all Japanese Music Festivals. Under an endless blue sky you can experience the music of Okinawa's past, present and future.
