Music Town Otoichiba
In the facility which is the center of musical activities in Okinawa, you can find a concert hall, music studio and musical square. Not only are there local events by volunteer groups but also through musical activities performed by aspiring young musicians, this facility offers a wide field of activites which helps develop talent for the music industry. In the spring of 2008 the first-ever public recording company in Japan, "A-sign Records" was established and produced its first Coperate CD "A-sign." "A-sign Records" has also worked in cooperation with the local business establishments and in the "All-Island Eisa Festivals" among other events, spreading into a wide network.
