Okinawa's oldest brewery!
Established in 1846, Shinzato Shuzo is the oldest distillery in Okinawa. Their technology and taste is celebrated and has received several awards, such as the Prefectural Governor's Award and the Gold Award of Monde Selection. Their "Coffee Spirit" is highly recommended. Westerners have long enjoyed awamori mixed with coffee, but Shinzato Shuzo has made it into a great product! Try their awamori mixed with soda or milk - there are many pleasant variations!
