Wonder Museum　｜Area: Goya

With the 10th anniversary of Wonder Museum, the children's science museum inside Okinawa Zoo, the fun filled facility celebrated a renewal opening on April 19, 2014.
With 34 installations filling the 1st floor to the 2nd, the museum is a place where children can play and learn at the same time.
Based on the concept that “understanding and creativity begins with a surprise”, the place is packed with excitement, anticipation and discovery.
Try the Ball Climber. Aim for the goal using the ropes! It may look easy, but give it a try and you’ll discover just how hard it is. Children whose minds are more absorbent than adults seem to have an easier time controlling the strings.
There is also the gear puzzle where children can freely move gears and put them together as they learn how gears move and energy flows.
With their tactile experience, children can discover things on their own and develop through their sense of touch. The museum is full of programs that enhance autonomy and imagination.
Wonder Museum’s exhibits using the latest technology may stand out, but you will discover that many of them are rather simple, allowing the body to feel the experience intuitively.
From children to elders, Wonder Museum is a place the whole family can enjoy, even on a rainy day!
