Western Hotel　｜Area: Sonoda/Sonoda

Western Hotel has come a long way in Okinawan history. Established during the Ryukyu Government era, the tiled bathtubs and big beds serve as a testimony of the A-Sign days. (The A-Sign was a permit given by the U.S. military government to local business establishments.)
The hallways are decorated with a conglomeration of old photos and Okinawan décor, and guests can enjoy sanshin performances given by the owner himself. Western Hotel is the embodiment of Koza’s mixed culture!
